Ariana Grande has a lot to celebrate this month. Not only did she just get engaged to beau Pete Davidson, but her new album Sweetener is about to drop and it’s her 25th birthday today! We’re exhausted just thinking about all those good times.
With Ari’s new chapter has come a whole host of new beauty looks for the pop princess, who we could once count on to rock a long, dark, high ponytail to every appearance. Now? It looks like Ariana is growing into herself, experimenting with her hair and make-up, and having a great time doing it.
Check out our five fave Ariana beauty looks of the moment and how to recreate them at home.
The Vogue cover freckles
British Vogue really gave us a treat with its July 2018 issue, where Ariana appears on the cover like we’ve never seen her before, complete with beachy blonde waves and the cutest freckles. No freckles? No problem! Get a sprinkle for yourself with a soft brown eyeliner.
Reflecting on the year that changed everything, @arianagrande covers the July issue of @britishvogue, shot by @craigmcdeanstudio and styled by @kphelan123, wearing @chanelofficial, and interview by @gileshattersley. Hair by @chrisappleton1 and make-up by @markcarrassquillo, manicure by #NatalieMartins. On newsstands Friday 8 June.
The crimped pony
We all know Ariana loves a high ponytail, but in the visuals for her new single Bed with Nicki Minaj she takes things one step further, with a CRIMPED pony. So 80s, yet so now. Grab your own crimper and go retro.
The Kim K blonde
Hands up if you legit thought this was Kim Kardashian for a moment? Us too, but it turns out Ari can pull off bleach blonde just as well as Mrs West. We recommend hitting the salon for this one, as at-home bleach can be hard to get right and expensive to fix if it does go wrong.
The low pony
We love how much Ariana has been changing things up lately; gone are the days of her being a one-trick (high) pony. To get this super cute low ponytail look, make sure your roots and the top of your hair is brushed smooth, then create a deep side parting and scoop your hair back with a tie.
The Met Gala cat eye
Isn’t this the most perfect feline flick you’ve ever seen? We recommend either a gel or pen eyeliner to perfect the look, like New CID Cosmetics’ I-Gel Trio (£24.50) or The Beauty Crop’s Wing Woman Liquid Eyeliner in Berry Black (£13). Team with some individual false lashes and a nude lip, and you’re good to go.
